Noah hasn't been well today either, poor sick little boy :(  Hopefully he will be better as soon as possible.

Well as some of you may know and some of you may not, I don't like Christmas.  Not sure why, maybe its the effort that it involves or where it starts in September or even just because I'm a Scrooge!  I don't know.

But what I do know it that it is my Nans Birthday and my Nephews Birthday on the same day.  So apart from Xmas it can be quite costly. 

I try and have fun over the festive season but it never runs smoothly, maybe because Christmas Day I'm driving all over Bristol or something like that.  This year as we have Noah it is going to be our time, we are going to do what we want.  Well what Catherine wants!!!  :)

Today we are going to get my Nans birthday prezzie and take her out for lunch, hopefully she will enjoy!

I should really start getting ready as we have to go to Weston Super Mud!  ha ha.

What a awesome TV programme.........  I can't wait for every episode.... However, news is the filming has been shutdown.  Mainly due to keeping the high standard that they normally produce but still, its stopped.  I could never get into Lost which is by the same writers, it just never floated my boat.  Most probably because i never really paid attention and as a programme never 'hooked' me.  Shame really because lots of people raved about it.

Work was ok today, I really want to change careers though.  I'm not too sure what yet, maybe something to do with writing.  What would be good is some sort of reporter kinda thing or a columist that would be cool.  Might try and get some sort of practice in, for instance on here.  More stories and more news segments etc.


Problem is, i can't get the start i need and don't really know where to start. 

Oh well i suppose im gonna be a insurance guy for as long as i need to be, ha ha.

I really should do this more often................

Ok so for whatever reason I have neglected going on here and updating my Blog..... Its mostly because I'm shit and have other things to do like watch movies and be a fat git!  Also as per usual, get my car fixed!!!  Yes fixed AGAIN!!!!! 

My gorgeous but problematic motor........... Well maybe not gorgeous but at least practicle......

It cost me £51.22 to fix, done within an hour and hopefully no more puddles in the passenger footwell... :(

Can't believe really that stuipid things go wrong with cars and cost so much to fix!

Oh well, I have work tomorrow and really not looking forward to it!  I suppose I will work my way through as per normal but still bit of a fucking killer.


Noah is screaming again, Catherine is doing a fantastic job as a Mum just wish I would praise her more often.  I'm not that good when he gets upset........  Can't handle it, probably because I'm crap at stuff like that.

Its shit, desperately need one, just not looking at the moment.... why i hear you shout?  I have no clue.  Lazy i suppose.

Its a reasonably easy job, no real hassles, its funny at times but just pisse off and management and some staff.  Oh well......................

Personal life is ok too, just trying to make ends meet whilst dreaming of a better existence.  Its hard work but has to be done.  Noah is well, looking cute as ever and so i have been told lots more like me!  How unfortunate.

Just managed to put LOTR to MP4 which has been near impossible due to various constraints!  But now have the movie! whoop!

Final day of the holiday.....

Well its early in the morning and we have to vacate the caravan today. It has been raining for a while now and it is very peacefull. I'm a wee bit tired and annoyed I have work tomorrow... However its only for 3 days... Get on.

Holiday has been good. A few hiccups along the way but apart from those its been fun. I will try and upload some pics when I get home... Got lots to do today. Keep it real.

Weymouth

Well were here and so far so good! It took a while to get here and there were a few probs when we got here but all good. Found the nearest asda that even tom tom could not find..... Fantastic.

Noah has slept most of the day and boy have we paid for it.... Cranky is not the word. However, he has been as smiley as normal. Such a lovely baby, he is going to be a good man.

Well southern comfort in hand..... And I'm about to watch Flashforward... It looks good.

I am a reasonably relaxed person who enjoys the simple things in life. I also want a few things done the way I like them. Dinner at a set time is for sure.... Most other things I am capable of doing myself so I just do them. It just pains me to see when you ask for something to be done its fucking ignored.... What am I a piece of shit to u only good for paying for you and what u want.

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it......

I get to go on holiday in 2 weeks.... Oh yes.... Can't wait. It is well deserved. I have had a rough time over the past 4 years and I am still trying to put it all behind me. The thing is it is so difficult to do especially when you are reminded of things every day.

I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I did!

Anyway its friday I am on my way into work. Lots to do as usual but hopefully it will be a bit more relaxed. Then the weekend and it will probably be busy as usual.... I have to save some money too as the travel fund is low and I need to pay for road tax etc. But hey bills to pay I guess.....

Brrrrr its cold outside (shiver)

I woke up at 6:45am and rushed to get ready, I missed 2 buses and had to get the 73x which doesn't go to the station. However lucky that I am, caught the 7:25am train. Whoop whoop!

The weather is cold but I have a feeling the sun will come out, hmmm well hopefully.

When I left this morning Cat & Noah were still asleep. Lucky for me I was able to give Noah a quick kiss on his head. He has changed so much in nearly 5 months. He sits up and holds his head up. He loves to use his legs, constantly kicking and moving them. Hopefully I can get him into rugby and then watch him play and take him to games. He is my gorgeous little man and I could cuddle him so much but he doesn't like it unless it is on his terms.....

Very independent and strong willed I think. I think it is time for a Davey other than my Dad to do well. I am going to make sure he learns and gets a few A grades. I suppose you could say I will make sure he doesn't make mistakes like I did. That would not be good....

Also before my mind goes tits up, Patrick Swayze has sadly passed away. Its a shame as he was a massive star. My thoughts are with his family.....

I wish I was on holiday......

Well today was reasonably ok, it started slow but by the end of the day I was flat out. Lots of crazy people to speak too. Apart from that the train I usually catch was delayed and I ended up waiting for about 40 mins which takes the piss...... Why do I think it would be any different.

I'm also a little annoyed as I have to pay road tax again..... £185.00 great... On top of the rest of the bills I have to pay. Does it ever stop? On top of that we are going to Bath next week, so I have also got to pay for that. But then again jaimie is driving so worth the cost.

I'm now sitting on the train ready to go home, can't wait for dinner I'm starving marvin......

Something I have just thought though is that these people who buy cars for like £17k on finance and write them off. Then get stressed when we offer less than there outstanding finance settlement. What these folk forget is that if you buy something on finance then it is loads less than what you pay for it. Jokers, we get them all the time.

Last Day Of The Weekend

Well it's Sunday, I'm tired and can't shift a headache I have had for a few days....

Adrian is over, which is nice as Cat doesn't get to see him that often, I cooked Sunday lunch which was nice, but the pork shrunk.... RUBBISH!

Also today some kids were pissing about with a spiked metal bar which I confiscated and contacted the Po Po! They came out and busted the wankers....

What a day.....

Tis hot today.

Well today we finally left the house at about 2pm, after what seemed like years of nagging from me... I was starving and we promptly went to Spud u Like and had a nice dinner. We then wondered around the Mall and bought nowt. It was rather shite there to be honest.

On the way to Mothercare from the Mall, Michelle (my ex wife) drove in front of us so I thought I would piss her off and drive up beside her tooting and waving ha ha. I don't think her or her new man liked it ha ha. Made me laugh though. She has also had some sort of accident and the car, her Offside Rear was scraped. Oh well..... Catherine didn't approve me tooting but I am happy with my situation and having such a gorgeous boy......

We got to Mothercare and it was roasting, stupid me was wearing jeans..... what a tit, I was sweating my balls off. Got into Mothercare and they have knocked it into one with ELC (Early Learning Centre), its now HUGE!!!! We bought some bibs for Noah and that was it.... We were going to get a travel cot but they were expensive, cheaper in ASDA.

We then went to Blockbusters where I rented the following -

Its the weekend... yay

Well thank goodness its finally here! I am tired and in need of a holiday but this will have to do. Not too sure what we are doing today, probably go to the Mall and see what stuff we really want but cannot afford. Ummm and have some lunch, poss KFC... Yum or a Costa. Not sure what else to do, its such a lovely day I need to get out for the day. Cats Dad is coming down tomorrow to see his new grandchildren so that will be fun. Apart from that we have nothing planned apart from saving for our holiday in October and tidying up.

We are going on holiday twice!!! yay.....

Holiday 1 is to Weymouth, which ain't great but we will make the most of it.

I will have access to email and stuff whilst i'm there so that will be cool.

Work was alright this week apart from Jaimie not being in, very busy on payments and work load but went quiet to the end of the week so we managed to clear 'some' work....

Well i'm on here again, my friend told me she read this and I thought why not try and carry on as I haven't been on here for a while.

My life has been pretty much non eventful apart from Noah growing up quick and my workplace moving to Bath. It is going to be a trek to get there but I think I will manage.

I saw my best mate today and he said Noah was lovely, which coming from Wes is cool... Wes will be off to Afghanistan next year, which I think he is looking forward too... That I don't really understand but it is his choice.

I have to get some shut eye as I am tired and in desperate need of beauty sleep... I am worried to look in the mirror some mornings. ha ha.

It has been nearly a month since i have been on here. Having a child really takes it out of you as well as a demanding job. Eveything is going well, Noah is over 12lb, he is agoing to be an awesome rugby player...

Catherine is ok too, finally got to grips with noah and his moods. I am still yet to get used to it.

Work is ok and really cool, i am doing well.

Im sorry i haven't been on here in a while, i have been extremely busy with Noah and work.  Lots and lots to do.

Not much has happened apart from Noah having constipation, me being ill and Catherine having an infection in her C Sec scar......

I also bought a new car which i think i have already mentioned............  Excellent, still using same tank of fuel i filled it with.

Well I haven't been on here for a while mainly because my beautiful partner Catherine gave birth to my amazing son Noah James Davey.

He was born on 29/04/09 @ 9:02pm weighing in at 9lbs 10oz.  Which is funny as Cat is only 5"1' and was looking pretty big.  Drs said it was water retention.  RUBBISH.  She has a 26hr 37 min Labour and then went in for an emergency C Section.  

When Noah came out I couldnt believe his head of Ginger hair... Beautiful.... ha ha.

Cat has had to start going into labor again as the pethadine has stopped her going further. So I expect we will see the boy today.

Its the final countdown.....

Yes he is nearly here. Waters broke at 6:25pm on the 28/04 and we are still here at nearly 6am the next morning. Cat is in pain and is in gas and air and pethadine. She is doing so well. Its just a shame I can do nothing for her. I have had about 4hrs sleep and I am pretty knackered, but it is going to be worth it.

Ok so the baby is due tomorrow.... Holy crap. Nah its all good, I am really looking forward to it. Work has been so busy since mike went. Good though as time flies. Still no ideas for names... Shame really cause I like william, its a very strong name. Cat is huge and I don't think she is enjoying the end bit of pregnancy.

On another note we sorted out our personal injury claim.... Mint. Were in the money. Ha ha.

Main thing I'm concerned about is getting this baby out and safe. Its gonna be mint.

What a day......... Hard going but good!

Everything seems to be coming together now too. The flat, the furniture and everything! Jackpot baby!!! We have a few friends and parents coming over this weekend, so plenty of stuff to do! Painting, and getting stuff ready! I also have to move the bloody computer into the other room.. Pain in the ass! ha ha

Cat is getting stressed at being pregnant and not being able to move properly... Poor bugger!

Apart from that everything is going well. Just working hard in all aspects of my life and i think its all coming together now........... Finally after the shit i have been through!

Well two bits of good news.

I have got my final offer from Quinn Direct. £800. Get in. That's a nice wedge of cash for either fixing my car or getting a new one. Also I have got the total loss job in work so I get to move teams and do something different. Get on.

Mike will be left doing what we do as its only a one man job. Hopefully he sorts himself out and gets on with it. I wonder if he will leave as I know he doesn't like the job.

Cat is due in 14 days so were both stressed as we don't know when baby davey will be here. I am so looking forward to holding my gorgeous boy in my arms.

Well its 19 days until we have our new edition. It does feel like a long time but we are on the home straight. Get on. We only need to do a few things mainly move furniture and put it up. I also need to move my mac!

Apart from that work is going well and both me and Mike are getting along better. My new manager is sound, very fair. I just have to keep working hard and get on and do what I have too, mainly for the baby and Cat.

Virgin Broadband Rant.....

Ok this is the 411............

I have broadband and a wireless router. For A few days I have been having problems with an intermittant fault with the modem, wireles connection, signal I don't fucking know....... Situation is I have phoned Virgin twice now and both times they say, turn off the computer and turn off the router and turn off the modem and then turn it all back on. So I do it and it works. Then it happens again and again...... I spoke to some woman in Bangalor or something and she basically said the above.....

So I went nuts. I mean really nuts. Stupid shitty Broadband. I told the woman that I was paying for a service which I wasn't getting, stoopid ho went quiet so I said im wasteing my time and hung up.

Aggggghhh Fuckers!


Other than that I went too the hospital today and had a tour. Interesting to say the least. We saw the birthing pools and birthing rooms etc. I am slightly worried but more so for remembering what my role is, I know Cat will be fine.... She has read lots about this...... So all will be cool :D

Mum and Dad are going on holiday for 3 days tomorrow...... Taking Lewis with them, I wouldn't let my child go with them. Mum smokes way too much and I wouldn't trust them to adhear to mine and Cats wishes...

Also my brother is going away to London to Claridges.... A Birthday treat from Becky. Nice...

So it is Wednesday, half way to the weekend. Things should be easier. Well work things at least. I got into work today found out that Mike had not done 13 outstanding claims... So which hard working and capable individual got to do them..... Me.... On top of my work. Well all I have to say is..... I did it all and managed to get out of work on time. Just goes to show management it can be done, unfortunately the employ fuck wits.

27 days until the baby gets here. Yay. Catherine is getting bigger and I think more stressed. Poor woman, I don't know if I could manage to give birth after 9 months of carrying a baby. I just know he is going to be gorgeous.

Apart from that I think today has been good. Just sitting on the train sweating my tits off. Bloody heating.

Mothers Day

Well it's Mothers Day and funny this but my mum is going out so I don't have to visit.............. Bargin! ha ha

Anyway the weather is fantastic and I really want to go out but Cat is still in bed, understandably cause we didn't get to sleep until late last night. However I really don't want to waste the day.

I have txt my brother to see if he wants to hit the beach ha ha, but doubtful. Might wake up cat and get and do something. Glenda is working today so not sure when we can see her......

Apart from that nothing has really happened apart from my Manager at work leaving on Thursday...... :( Wednesday I did Mikes work, oh and Thursday and Friday I was busy and he did bugger all...... Pain!!!! Oh well........

I bought this fantastic coat for Baby Davey yesterday from Gap, its for 18mnths + but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get it as it was only £12. He will look like a mini ME ha ha.

7 Weeks to go.........

Cat has 7 Weeks to go until she pops......

I can't wait. I really can't. I thought I would never have kids mostly because I couldn't take care of myself, however I think I could actually manage it.

I am the sort of person who is so laid back I'm horizontal. I just want a chilled life and just get by, obviously this is just turned that on its head. Not that I mind, as soon as I felt my baby kicking and hearing the heartbeat I knew that it was right for me to have a child. I was getting a bit old.....

It is my birthday soon, about 15 days!! That is making me feel a bit older, wiser and generally more mature. I hope all the mistakes I have made make a difference.

Times Change, But Some Things Stay The Same

Do you know what I mean?

Possibly not. Well basically, its those things like -

• Not getting ready on time.
• Lateness.
• Criminals.
• Love.
• Growing up.
• Having children.

I don't know what put me on the subject apart from watching TV and looking at FB. I have alot of friends who aer having babies the same time as me and Cat. Some having boys some having girls, it just seems like everybody is at it. Even one of my X-GF are having a baby lol, yes Catherine an X who i DO NOT find attractive any longer.

It is unusual though. Feels like i am getting so old, everyone having the babies are under 25 as far as I am aware. Im pushing 30 on my first..... Oh dear. But I do think eventhough I will be an older dad than my friends, I also think that its allowed me to grow up and become educate enough in life to instill something good in my boy.... If you get my drift.

Well finally I managed to put togethere the cot and wardrobe for the babies bedroom, it looks wicked against the blue background. All I have to do now is put together the chest of drawers and get some more boxes to put the additional clothes in. Then its pretty much sorted, oh and some sheets and stuff as I don't think we have any.

She kicked off again last night telling everyone i stole records from her and sold them, I would be quite happy to do a polygraph and confirm I never stole shit from her. Grumpy biatch. The food last nite was lush, even though it cost £60 for 2 of us! Still tasty! ha ha.

Well its now about 10pm, I am falling asleep and Cat has been snoring already, time for a quick shower and a kip.

A day of rest........

Today has been a pretty somber day, we went to a late wake if that makes sense. My Uncle passed away about 2/3 weeks ago, it was hard for my Nan but we all tried to make it as easy as possible. Today however, we went to a pub and had lunch and celebrated my uncles passing, nice day and nice food!!!!

What a difference a day makes

Does it fuck, some people just do not learn. Work is there to be done and infact is one of those necessary evils. Today I actually got to the end of my tether and stated Mike had to do some work as he is a lazy shit. Didn't go down too well as you would expect. He ignored me all day only talking to me when he had too.

Funny thing is Iike him when you cut all the bull shit out. He just has to be the big man all the time which does my nut. I also found out to my annoyance they are giving the total loss job to a girl who has worked for us for about 2 months. Rubbish, its all about your face fitting.

I had a word with the new boss and hopefully get a move too. Fingers crossed as they say, actually I better cross everything.

Well I'm on the train now getting home for a relaxing night, might treat cat......

Its about 7am and for the 3rd day in the row I am making my way to work. Would you believe I was the first one in yesterday. Makes a change I suppose.

Catherine had her midwife appointment today, all is well apart from the slight pains she gets now and then. Midwife said to call her if it happens again. She didn't call the midwife at the time and I found out last night that's my fault. Course it is, I took the phone away from you.......

We did find out though that the baby is the size of a child of 32 weeks, cat is only 31 weeks..... Big child I think.

Well we are nearly at the train station..... Wonder if I will see justin lee collins again....?????????

It was Catherines birthday today (13th) and she has turned 24.... Awww so young.

We both had work today so we were not able to celebrate, wait until the 27th...... However, we did manage a tasty take away..... Yummy and Cats mum came over.

Apart from that and working my ass off today not much has gone on. Saturday today so its the usual get up get out etc, we have to go to trowbridge for a mamas and papas cot for £10. Nice.....

I hate public transport.........

Today started well, I was up and out by 7:30am to catch the train at 7:45am and be in town for about 8am...... I made my way to work and was there for about 8:15am.... Fantastic.

In the rain.

I then worked my ass off again and went for lunch at 1pm....

I went for my afternoon break at 4:15......... guess what. In the rain.

The weather has been crap and cold. Work has been shocking too..... I am not going into that crap now cause its the usual bullshit......

I left work and made my way to the train station to get home which took all of 30 mins... I then waited for a bus to get me to my door for about 45 mins. Wankers, bloody First bus.... I hate them and I don't hate anything. Apart from Beetroot and Anchovies... Maybe a few other things.

I had a lovely dinner cooked by one of the best cooks that I know.... ME!! Yumm, Omelette and rice and chopped pepperoni.... MMMMMmmmm

Its now 8pm and im just starting to relax before i head off to bed... Booo. I wish i had a few days off, the baby is due soon so I like to think I will have some time off.

I actually can't wait to be a dad, it just seems like te best thing ever. Loving and caring for a child who has uncoditional love for you, what a feeling. I know alot of crap comes with it like smelly nappies and sleepless nights but I think its all worth it, you get to bring a little person into this world and hep them to grow into a good person and see them settle down and have a family of their own. I just hope that he wont balls it up like I have, make silly mistakes and get pressured into things that he doesn't want just because its the norm. Hopefully, we will instill enough love nad respect that he will be fantastic. Well just wait as I will keep this updatded.

Snow day like today

Well its friday/saturday and it has been snowing for like days..... Its cold,slushy and crap. No buses and no common sense for some drivers. Work was ok today, I was busy as normal and Mike still thinks he also works hard. The thing that annoys me the most is that no matter how many times I try and help him or guide him he still thinks he is the mutts nuts. He is younger than me so I can kinda understand.

Hopefully things will change.

I also heard of a vlog on youtube about a guy who has cancer and did a vid for 39 weeks before he died to show people what it is like having cancer. Very interesting.

Well its now early in the morning I have just watched Jackass and thought some of it was comical.

What a long stressful week.

Well, I didn't come on here last night due to being so stressed out.......

O2 said yes to my iPhone yesterday, but Carphone Whore House would not let me take one cause their system stated I did not pass their criteria..... Wankers. Not only that but they told me and Cathereine that 5 hours after we got to the store..... Thats right we were in the store for 5 solid hours.........

Also we went back today as we were advised to speak to O2, e visited their store and they were the same..... Shite.

So I think were gonna give up on contracts and use PAYG. Makes sense! Contacted Vodafone today to see about an upgrade out of curiosity.... well they want £200 +£150 for the phone.....

Today. Well what shall i say, oh yeah - I officially work with the laziest mofos ever. I am sick to death with them.... I need a new job, something challenging and somewhere which recognises my abilities and helps me progress..... MacDonalds?

Weekend now tho, so that means i can kick back and decorate. :(

Oh yeah, forgot to say. O2 are shite. I ordered my iPhone online yesterday and it took a payment of £57.14 - 5 bloody times, WHY????? Even O2 didnt know, they just said wait for 5 days...... Fine I will wait and if its not there in 5 days i will ask for compensation.

Well first day back at work was un-eventful, I got in at 8am after struggling to get my fat ass out of bed. Loaded up my PC and what should I find but 40 new claims, oh happy fucking days........

My day generally consisted of logging, answering calls and calling tards and offering our services. Boooooo Screw that shit.

Catherine went to the midwifes today as she couldnt feel Baby Davey, but it's all good as she heard the heartbeat again! Awwww. 3 months exactly today! Yay, we can actually use all the stuff I have bought.

No its not MAN FLU.....

Well I remembered to update my blog..... Well nearly....

Ok, i'm ill, still and I am just about feeling better after 5 days of sickness. I am also fed up of people saying it's man flu. That is for pussys, I work hard and play hard and hate being ill.

Anyway, today I did not go to work for a second day, tat means i loose out on 2 days pay... Great. But then again I don't think I would have managed to battle through the cold like I have been able to if I went to work. I decided to paint a wall, but what I thought would be easy turned out to be a nightmare, after 1 coat the paint I was painting over bubbled up so I had to scrape the old paint off..... Lucky for me the twats that painted it before were crap and it came off easy!!!!

I also cooked dinner for Catherine and 2 of my friends, one of which is going back into the army tomorrow morning. We had Potatoes in a Leek sauce and Veg and Chicken breast wrapped in Bacon.... Yummy. I must say I am a very good cook. :)
