The Wire & Luther

I watched Luther last night on BBC, it was very very good for the BBC.  It has the guy from the Wire, so I have been told by my mate Joseph.  He also brought in The Wire Season 1 on DVD to work today.... Should be good.

It features a guy called Idris Elba who is a minor actor turned major due to the HBO show The Wire as well as a Dj and Hip Hop/R&B artist.

The Wire's Idris Elba may have experienced a new sensation with the debut of his BBC1 cop drama Luther last night, Tuesday 4 May – starring in a TV show that a significant number of viewers watched live.  Luther opened with 5.646 million viewers and a 23.8% audience share on BBC1, comfortably winning the 9pm hour. Another 111,000 (0.47%) watched the BBC HD simulcast.  This gave BBC1 a 35% uplift compared with the average audience share for the slot over the past three months, the best performance of any show yesterday by this comparison.

So all in all a good programme, Set my Sky+ box to do some damage and that's it.....

I had a ok day as well today and yesterday, still lots going on.... Being brassic and having to pay copius amounts of bills are rubbish but alas will be resolved.  At least I still have Catherine and Noah... They do keep me going.

Anyway off now,

Ciao
